ION HOTEL Dongdaemun

A 1-2 minuti a piedi dall'uscita 3 della stazione di Dongdaemun. Si trova in un vicolo, quindi di notte può fare un po' paura, ma la reception è aperta 24 ore su 24, il personale è cordiale, vengono forniti servizi e ci sono tre bottiglie d'acqua gratuite nel frigorifero. Il bagno e il water sono uniti e il locale è piccolo, ma va bene se si pensa di usarlo solo per un pisolino.

Nella stanza non c'era molto spazio disponibile ed era difficile aprire la valigia. Il bagno è molto piccolo e non c'è separazione tra zona asciutta e zona bagnata. È difficile andare in bagno dopo aver fatto la doccia. La stanza è soffocante e bisogna tenere l'aria condizionata sempre accesa.

I had a great 3-night stay at ION Hotel. The location is excellent—very close to the metro station and the airport bus stop, which made getting around Seoul super convenient. I arrived a bit earlier than expected, and the staff kindly allowed me to check in early. Everyone on the team was friendly, welcoming, and helpful with any information I needed. The room, although compact, was very clean and just the right size for a solo traveler. I’d definitely love to stay here again on my next visit.

I traveled alone on this trip, and this place turned out to be a really great choice for solo travelers. The room might be a bit small, but I found it cozy and just right for one person. It was very clean and looked quite new. The decoration was cute, and all the essential amenities were provided. However, the bathroom was quite small and there was no separation between the toilet and the shower. Still, it was clean and had shampoo and soap ready to use. The front desk staff were super friendly and could communicate well in English. They even let me check in before the official check-in time — which was amazing! Most impressively, they kept my umbrella safe after I accidentally dropped it in the lobby. I really appreciated that. The hotel is also very conveniently located, just about 300 meters from Exit 3 of Dongdaemun Station. There’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel too. Plus, there are plenty of shops and a 7-Eleven right at the front. I absolutely loved staying here. If I get the chance to visit South Korea again, I’ll definitely stay here again!

1 min walk from metro exit 3, really very convenient Staff at counter and nice, he greets me every time I passed through. 3 bottles of water provided at room and on request if required. A drinking machine and microwave is on 1st floor free for use. House keeping is on request only. I enjoy my stay here
